Sep 26      ILB         10:35       N 4            Called to person reported in the sea off Pz Promanade.

                                                              After search turned out to be false alarm with good intent.

 

Sept 20     ALB        22:52      SW 4         Injured person on board the survey vessel Discovery 2

                                                              miles SE of Newlyn. Injured person landed in Newlyn.

 

Sept 18     ALB        05:00      N 3            Called to evacuate an injured sailor from yacht Jamaica

                                                              which was competing in an around the world race.

 

Sept 5       ILB/ALB  23:38      N 1/2          Both boats called to search an area nr Pz Harbour after

                                                               several reports of a person shouting for help. After

                                                               extensive search of sea and shore including helicopter

                                                               turned out to be a malicious hoax.

 

Sept 3       ILB         18:12      NW 4          Called to search for a wind surfer in difficulties nr Long

                                                               Rock. Wind surfer found safe on the beach.

 

Aug 24      ILB         16:58      NE 4           Called to help a kite surfer in difficulties nr Long Rock.

 

Aug 23      ALB        13:15      NE 5          Towed in catermaran Catereta in difficulties 2 miles S of

                                                              Tater Dhu.

 

Aug 21      ILB         13:15       N 7            Gave help to a kayaker in difficulties near Long Rock.

 

Aug 14      ILB         18:22       S 6/7         Called to two persons washed off Porthleven Pier. Both

                                                              persons saved by helicopter.

 

Aug 11      ILB         13:28       SE 3         Called to help search for a missing child at Praa Sands.

                                                              Child found safe and well.

 

Aug 7        ALB       18:48       SW 2/3      Towed in fishing vessel Nantewas with steering failure 12

                                                              miles South of Newlyn.

 

Aug 2        ALB       22:40       N 2            Search an area nr Porthcurnoe after distress flares

                                                              sighted. Nothing found.

 

Aug 1        ILB        11:07        N 2            Rescued two kayakers in distress near Cudden Point.

 

July 24      ILB        06:03        Calm         Towed in fishing vessel Blue Finn 1 mile S of Mousehole.

 

July 21      ILB        12:30        NE 3         Recovered two persons from the sea near St.Michaels

                                                             Mount after sailing dingy capsized.

 

July 8        ILB        07:15        S 1           Towed in 21 ft fishing vessel Blue Finn 1/2 mile S of

                                                              Mousehole.

 

July 1        ALB       07:08        SW 5       Yacht in difficulties 1 mile S of Tater Dhu. Escorted yacht

                                                              into Newlyn.

 

June 27     ALB       21:27        SW 3       Towed in a 50ft fishing vessel 1 mile S of Low Lee Buoy.

 

June 9       ILB        20:17        E 2          Towed in a 14ft open boat from Penberth Cove with engine

                                                             failure.

 

May 27     ALB       01:24        SE6/7      Towed in a 40ft Yacht from South of Runnel Stone Buoy.

 

May 25     ILB        18:10        NW 5       Called to small yacht off Porthleven. Escorted in.

 

May 25     ILB        16:12        N 4          Rescued a kayaker off Perranuthnoe.

 

May 5       ILB        20:00        W 1/2      Pleasure boat New Rose broken down off Mousehole.

                                                            Vessel towed back to Mousehole.

 

April 14     ILB        15:42        W 3         Fisherman reported overboard. Found safe and well.   

 

April 8       ILB        00:38        NE 1        Red flares sighted off Marazion. Area searched. Nothing

                                                            found.

      

Jan 22      ALB        20:24        N 8/9       MFV Algrie, 18 miles South of Newlyn in difficulties.

                                                             Escorted vessel back to Newlyn.
